Claire Danes
One of the most dramatic hairstyles of the night belonged to Claire Danes, who appeared to have chopped her hair into a short bob before the awards ceremony. As it turns out, stylist Peter Butler created a faux bob for the Homeland actress and Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series winner. To get the look, Butler curled her hair inward and pinned the ends near the nape of her neck. For the sleek shine, he used plenty of serum throughout.

Connie Britton
We fell in love with the Nashville star's flawless waves years ago when she played Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights, and we've been trying to copy them ever since.

Stylist Creighton Bowman created Britton's look for the Emmys with Leonor Greyl products by blowing out her hair with a paddle brush (for lots of volume) and using a half-inch curling iron on large sections. After setting the sections with pin curls, Bowman brushed out the curls with a paddle brush.

Kate Mara
We loved the House of Cardsstar's slick, long bob with a diagonal side part—the severe style looks like something she picked up from her sister, Rooney. To get the look, apply lots of gel on wet hair and comb through evenly. Then, brush hair flat to the head, blasting with a dryer, and finish off with a flat iron to smooth out any bends. Kerry Washington
The Scandal star didn't take home the Best Actress in a Drama Series Emmy for her role as Olivia Pope, but she still was one of the evening's most luminous ladies. To accent her elegant Marchesa dress, celebrity stylist Marcus Francis created her soft waves using Leonor Greyl products.

To get the look, blow the hair dry with a round brush, then curl 2-inch sections of hair with a 1 1/4" curling iron, wrapping hair away from the face. Pin curls for 10 minutes to set, then add shine and fight fly-aways with a serum.

January Jones
We loved January Jones Old-Hollywood inspired waves, but we also couldn't take our eyes off her makeup. Inspired by 1930s film star Carole Lombard Chanel makeup artist Rachel Goodwin kept Jones' face clean and simple, but played up her eyes with a light lilac shadow, that contained just a hint of sparkle. To achieve the look Goodwin began with a base of Chanel Ellis Faas Liquid Shadow in 202, then applied Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Seduction. To finish off the look she applied Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Sheer Hydrating Lipshine in Boy.
