We all know how important it is to avoid the sun, load up on SPF, and, um, avoid the sun, but most women can't help that they still want that sexy, sun-kissed look.
How to get some sun without the inevitable sun damage?
Marie Claire beauty director Ying Chu hit up Sephora to learn some trade secrets on how to fake that fun-in-the-sun skin. L.A.-based celebrity makeup artist Tina Turnbow — who has prettied the faces of the likes of Keri Russell, Amanda Peet, and Mary-Louise Parker — demonstrates how to use shimmery shades, bronzer, and liquid sunshine (that's code for lip gloss) to get that golden glow. (And if you need even more melt-proof makeup tips for those scorching-hot summer days, Turnbow's got those, too.)
