Although it is in French, you do not need subtitles to understand the quirky plot of the Prada Candy L'eau film series directed by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola. In a bright, 1960s Parisian esthetic (think blunt bangs and turtlenecks), we follow Candy, played by French actress and model, Léa Seydoux, as she is pursued by two dapper best friends, Gene and Julius. We see Gene and Julius vie for Candy's attention with banana splits, a double-vanilla-cream-almond birthday cake, and constant doting. This fashion film has just the amount je nais sais quoi that will have us running for a spritz of Prada Candy L'eau.
