British designer Issa shot from a little known label beyond the borders of the United Kingdom to making international headlines when Kate Middleton stepped out in an appropriately royal blue number to announce her engagement to Prince William The demand for the designer's garb almost put her out of business! Thankfully, the brand has survived and thrived, and now, us commoners around the world will be able to get their hands on Issa pieces thanks to a new collaboration with Banana Republic, including some inspired by the originals worn by Kate herself! Residual royal fever from the birth of Will and Kate's first child just a little over two weeks ago makes for perfect timing for the Banana Republic Issa London's debut today!

As expected, Kate's now-iconic blue engagement dress has been revamped for the Banana Republic Issa London collection, and at a much reduced price: Kate's original cost more than $500, whereas the Banana Republic Issa London version is only $130. The engagement dress isn't the only Kate-inspired look in the collection, however: The Duchess of Cambridge rocked a halter zebra-print dress in her pre-royal days, and that print pops up on a sleeveless dress at Banana Republic.

The collection isn't only about the royally-inspired looks. Dresses in funky animal prints and staple solids, bold everyday cardigans and buttery leather accessories are just a few of the things you can expect to see from this limited-edition collaboration. Be sure to get your hands on pieces fast—it's going to sell out quickly... Especially those with a royal connection.
