If you want to get clued in on what's to come on Game of Thrones, it's pretty easy: Pick up a copy of the books that inspired the show, George R.R Martin's Game of Thrones. However, once you get to a certain point, your spoilers will hit a roadblock: the last two books in the series have yet to be written. But if youre dying to know whats going to happen at the end of GoT, you dont have to wait too much longeryou just have to do some digging. During a recent town hall meeting at the Edinburgh Book Festival, Martin revealed that the as-of-now unpublished ending to the epic series is easier to determine than you might think. Martin says that GoT fans all over have already figured it out, and its buried deep in the many message boards and internet chats surrounding the show.
Even though clever audience members have already discovered the ending, Martin says that hasnt inspired him to change things. "I've been planting all these clues that the butler did it, then you're halfway through a series and suddenly thousands of people have figured out that the butler did it, and then you say the chambermaid did it? He says No, you can't do that."
In a show where anything's possible, but there's a few endings that would make more sense, like Tyrion Lannister living up to his potential and taking the Iron Throne. But Game of Thrones fans, its time to start trolling the internet for possible ending theoriesat least until the ending is published in print form.
