Last night, Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated the reopening of their Fifth Avenue flagship store and the launch of luxury guidebook Mr. & Mrs. Smith Hotel Collection: Italy with a swanky cocktail party, co-hosted by our own fashion director Nina Garcia.
As we sipped champagne and ogled the beautiful clothes, Solange Knowles took to the DJ booth spinning loads of fun tunes. But it wasn't all fun, food and fashion—the event also benefited Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's Pediatric Housing Endowment. I spent the better part of the evening daydreaming of a vacation to one of the gorgeous hotels in the guidebook...complete with Ferragamo luggage, of course.
