Kim Kardashian has revealed that she thinks pregnant women should "never leave the house".

The 33-year-old was asked for her tips for good pregnancy style in an interview with her sisters, but gave an unexpected answer.

"I recommend hiding for a good year and having no pregnancy style," she said.

"That's what I recommend. If you can do it, hide. Never leave the house."

Sister Khloe Kardashian then stepped in and said: "Okay, well that's not practical. Give a different answer."

But Kim stuck by her original answer, and replied: "That's really my recommendation. Wear a huge blanket."

Throughout her pregnancy with North West, Kim was heavily criticized for her fashion choices and also weight gain.

Responding to comments about a tight skirt, she said: "They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory [that tight clothes are bad] sounds ridiculous! I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby!"

Kim's new mobile game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood has been tipped to make more than $200 million (£117 million) through in-app purchases.

The game has players take a "celebrity adventure" with the star through Hollywood while trying to find love.
