Lady Gaga has announced that she will appear in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, the sequel to 2005's Sin City based on Frank Millers graphic novels. Gaga has nabbed the small role of a waitress, while Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson are also set to star in the film.
Gaga broke the news on Instagram, writing that she will be in the movie "with my favorite scene partner Joseph Gordon-Levitt." She also gave a shout out to director Robert Rodriguez, saying "he really killed this one!"
Gaga's fans were, of course, excited by the announcement, tweeting their encouragement. But the Mother Monster herself assured them it's just a small role and that her main focus is still on her music.
@bloodyw0nder it's not a big part but I'm always happy to do it! When I take a music break I'll have more time but Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) July 28, 2014
@gagamonster96 I'm just warming up I gotta wet my feet first. Plus I perform best when I have time to focus. Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) July 28, 2014
