Twilight star Nikki Reed has a qualm about being a celebrity: Being in the public eye means that — lest you be outed by the paparazzi in the likes of Us Weekly — you can't ever wear the same thing twice. (Okay, not the worst problem to have, but in the age of Facebook and Instagram, even we plebes can relate. We'd all like to keep things fresh in the fashion department.)
Perhaps that's why she was singing the praises of RentTheRunway.com, the popular website that lets women rent designer dresses for a fraction of the price. Nikki — who says she wishes she thought of the "genius" idea herself — admits that she has a house full of clothes she can never wear again. So, when she attended the site's pre-Valentine's Day dinner at The Darby in New York City, she wore her very first rental, the "Time for Tea Dress" by Moschino. Regularly $1,995, she got to borrow the feminine frock for the evening for a mere $225. It seems even celebrities like a good bargain. Perhaps stars really are just like us.
