A recent study by students at Connecticut College found what you probably secretly thought to be true but weren't entirely sure about: that Oreos are as addictive as cocaine. Yep—cocaine.

Lab rats were given Oreos and reacted similarly to rats given cocaine and morphine. The cookie even caused the rats to experience more neural activity in the pleasure center of their brains than the rats given addictive drugs! Certain facts remain unclear, including how rats would react to Oreos dunked in milk (probably lose their minds entirely) and if they bite the cookie or lick the cream-filling first (we're thinking the latter).
