This spring, indie label SUNO is taking a dip in the pool of mainstream fashion. In its first ever fashion collaboration, SUNO designers Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty are teaming up with global retail giant UNIQLO to release a Japanese Americana-inspired capsule collection full of pretty prints and statement stripes. As part of UNIQLO's Designer Invitation Project, SUNO was selected after submitting an entry to collaborate with the Japanese chain. This is a big hit for SUNO, which just launched in 2008. The New York-based clothing brand began with African roots in Kenyan textiles and has since branched out to incorporate a multitude of prints and textures to make hip pieces. This capsule collection shows off SUNO's enthusiasm for mismatched prints ranging from florals to stripes on blouses, dresses, and more.
Starting May 20, you can grab one of these print perfect pieces at UNIQLO stores and online for as low as $19.90.
