1 DON'T HESITATE.

My friend invited me on my first skydiving trip after my freshman year of college. Rather than be intimidated, I just went and jumped. You have to go for it and see if it's worth pursuing.

2 BROADCAST YOUR INTENTIONS.

I knew I wanted to get onto the Red Bull team. Instead of waiting for them to come to me, I e-mailed the guy who does their hiring to say, "Hey, I'm ready."

3 STAY FOCUSED.

When training for world-record attempts, we do five high-altitude jumps a day, three days a week. Breaking a record is incredible, but it's the little wins that keep me going.
