How to Invest in Real Estate
By Ian Parrish
The Markets Always Good
Heres something else experienced real estate investors know. Theres no such thing as a bad market.
Forget the doom and gloom the media focuses on, and recognize the fact that there are dozens of real estate markets, and creating real estate profit is always possible if you look in the right one.
Most novices use the same sources to locate (and inflate) real estate: the newspaper, real estate agents, and banks. Smart investors, on the other hand, concentrate on markets the tyros dont know exist. The land market, for example, or the commercial property market. The absentee owner market, the expired listings market, or markets with tax sale property, vacant property, auction property, pre-foreclosure property, property with housing code violations, and on and on.
Dont let the ill-informed media dissuade you from investing in real estate. There are always fabulous buys out there. All you have to do is learn where to look.
