Taylor Swift's Photo Shoot: Behind the Scenes
It used to be that skimpy Catholic-schoolgirl uniforms were a staple on young pop stars (Britney Spears, we're looking at you). But Taylor Swift's approach to style in the spotlight is much more subtle: Champion the signposts of youth — girlie frills, a little sparkle — without turning them into camp. For our photo shoot, the MC fashion team whipped up signature looks of lace, chiffon, pleats, and feathered dresses. Then they spiked them all with aggressive, don't-mess-with-me stilettos. Despite having the stomach flu, the 20-year-old singer took to the demure frocks like Lady Gaga to a lobster hat.
