As we suspected, Maisie Williams is just as badass as her Game of Thrones character Arya Stark — and she intends to stay that way. During an interview with HuffPost Live, the 17-year-old, whose voice was hoarse from a long weekend at Glastonbury, was asked if she'd like to play a normal teenager. You know, one that's not a sword-wielding adolescent in Westeros. Her answer was simple:

"I'll never play the normal teenager," she answered. "I hope I'd be playing these badass, strong female characters for a long time because that's what I enjoy."I'm never really going to be the romantic lead because that's just not really who I am."

Williams might be typecasting herself, but when said demographic is fierce, independent young women, we're totally on board.
