Forget about pouring water over your head, the new awareness-raising trend is all about crotch grabbing. The punnily hashtagged #feelingnuts (get it?! Because they're grabbing their crotches! And it's crazy! Gold.) movement is aimed at drawing attention to testicular cancer.

The handsy trend started in August, but has started to gain momentum, with stars like Hugh Jackman, Nigel Barker, and Ricky Gervais getting grabby for the cause. Like the ALS ice bucket challenge, the stunt comes with a nomination—so thanks to Jackman, we might see Neil Patrick Harris and Michael Strahan being ballsy soon enough and if he accepts Gervais' nod, William Shatner.

The organization Check One Two started the #feelingnuts campaign, and though it doesn't appear to have a donation component linked to it so far, it's certainly guaranteed to grab our attention.

Plus, as Ellie Goulding proved, it's not gender specific! So, it might be time to start preparing yourself for a Facebook feed that looks, well, nuts.

And, more importantly could THIS be why Nick Jonas posed for Flaunt magazine in various stages and expressions of crotch-grab (because, really, WHYYYYY?!)? But, like the age-old question, "How many licks does it take to get to the Toosie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?" the world may never know..
