Zoe Saldana is just the coolest—but you already knew that because you read what she said about preserving female history in our August issue, right?
Our fierce, take-no-prisoners cover girl recently sat down for an interview with Maria Menounos, in which she continued her streak of straight-talking honesty.
"You have to fight harder," the expectant mother said of being a woman in Hollywood. "You have to be better. You can't rest. And you kind of go, 'That's not OK.' We work in a business that's very anxiety-driven, because you're afraid of missing [out]. 'Oh if I don't go, or if I … get pregnant now, then somebody else will get the job. Then good, maybe it's her turn. You know what I'm saying?"
The Guardians of the Galaxy actress also proposed an amped-up version of the idea Marvel has reportedly been developing: an all-female action flick.
