It's been a year since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, and the reality star revealed she is still reeling from the trauma, especially when it comes to traveling. "I just have anxiety. Are you sure it's safe here?" she says, tearing up during a phone call with her friend Joe Francis. The Kardashians were staying at his beachfront home during their visit to Punta Cana, Mexico.

"Yeah, it's safe there. I promise you," Francis responds. "Look, I went through the same thing, I promise you it's safe. I have my kids there. It's safe."

Kardashian went on to explain that "ever since Paris, I just go through this worst case scenario mode in my head." The mother of two was gagged, bound, and robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel on October 3, 2016, previously revealing that she thought she would be raped or murdered during the robbery.

Worried that she, her family, and her friends are a target for theft when traveling, the social media star has scaled back on sharing her location or displaying her wealth online, and has urged her friends to follow suit. The robbers stole $10 million worth of her belongings in Paris.

"All of these people at the airport are gonna see 17 or 18 girls with all of our Chanel bags and Louis Vuitton this, and it just like hit me. We're the biggest target ever," she said.
