Last year, actress Carrie Fisher passed away after suffering cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, died of a stroke the day after Fisher's death.
Today would have been the actress' 61st birthday and her daughter, Billie Lourd, paid tribute to her late mother in a perfect Instagram post.
Lourd captioned the post—a collage of pictures of her and her mother—with, "❤ ♓️🅰️🅿️🅿️✌🏼 🅱️ℹ️🌱✝️♓️👂🏼🅰️✌🏼 ♏️🅾️♏️🅱️✌🏼 ❤," a beautiful tribute to Fisher's unique way of using emojis on social media.
Lourd isn't the only person who has paid tribute to Fisher on social media for her birthday. Her Star Wars costar and longtime friend, Mark Hamill, posted a touching throwback picture with Fisher on Twitter.
