Saoirse Ronan hosted Saturday Night Live last night and the Lady Bird star and Oscar contender crushed it (is anyone surprised?).

If you're a huge fan of Saoirse's work and still not sure how to pronounce her name, don't worry. You're not alone and she realizes that her name causes some head-scratching among her American fans.

“I am very Irish, and I have an extremely Irish name," she said. "Some would say too Irish. It’s Saoirse. It means freedom. But I’ve got a little problem: It’s spelled wrong. It’s a full typo."

As such, she dedicated her monologue to explaining just how to say it:

Here are some other highlights from her hosting stint.

"Welcome to Hell"

Probably the buzziest sketch of the week, Saoirse joined the ladies of SNL for a song addressing the ongoing sexual harassment scandals unfolding across a number of industries—and how none of it feels like news to women who have endured years of harassment and been silenced or ignored when they tried to speak out.

"Bachelor Auction"

Saoirse wasn't the star of this sketch, but she stole it with every line.
