Kim Kardashian went after Daily Mail today after the site published a story that described mother, Kris Jenner, as "chubby-faced." The reality TV star responded to the article on Twitter and suggested a few alternative adjectives for describing her mom's appearance.

"Chubby really? That’s the headline?" Kim tweeted. "How about beautiful, youthful, stunning?!?!"

The article features exclusive black and white photos of Jenner in her early '20s, shot by her former boyfriend, Alfred Garcia. Though Kim focused on the descriptions of her mother's weight, other parts of the story were also problematic. In the full headline, Daily Mail writes the pictures were taken "a year before the flight attendant [Jenner] convinced wealthy lawyer Robert Kardashian to marry her." The intro also includes a quote from Garcia, saying Kris "was always looking for the gold at the end of the rainbow."

The news site has previously been called out for tone-deaf headlines and stories, including one about Amal Clooney's outfit during her appearance at a sexual violence summit (which appears to have been edited) and another that focused on Theresa May and Nicola Sturgeon's legs during an official foreign policy meeting regarding Scotland's independence.

This also isn't the first time Kim has spoken out on the internet to defend members of her family. Last week, she shut down online critics who accused her of partying while her son, Saint West, was in the hospital for pneumonia.

"I did not leave my son for one minute during his hospital stay," she tweeted. "We were there Wednesday night to Saturday. NYE WAS SUNDAY NIGHT. People came over when he was already asleep for the night! Don't even try me when it comes to my kids."
