This Is How the 'Game of Thrones' Crew Celebrated Emilia Clarke's 30th Birthday

Okay, so this is not what we expected.

Emilia Clarke, aka Daenerys Targaryen (aka Breaker of Chains, Mother of Dragons, etc.), turns 30 today. The Game of Thrones actress celebrated the official end of her 20s on set and the GoT crew made sure the birthday was a memorable one.

Clarke posted a sneak peek of the celebration on Instagram, complete with Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants. If Clarke looks confused in the picture, maybe it's because these characters are more often found at 3rd birthday parties than 30th birthday parties. And if she looks sliiiiightly terrified, that's probably because Dora the Explorer appears to be about six feet tall with giant man arms, thus Clarke's brilliant use of hashtag humor: #waitisthatchanningtatum?!

"Please note: THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS. And show runners. And a brand new thirty year old. And Jon Snow's mum. #butnosneekypaps #vivalagameofthronesbithdays 🎉🍻🏆🙌 #waitisthatchanningtatum?!" she captioned the picture.

So, apparently Dora the Explorer is Jon Snow's mom, which is a crossover we definitely did not see coming.

Clarke's costar/onscreen BFF, Nathalie Emmanuel, also posted a sweet birthday tribute, sans giant cartoon characters.
