'SNL' Perfectly Skewered That Controversial Kendall Jenner Pepsi Ad

"Sort of tone deaf?" Yeah. Sort of.

This week, Pepsi released its latest ad, starring Kendall Jenner, and it was met with a resounding, "...?" from pretty much everyone. The ad centered on a protest march and culminated in Kendall Jenner offering a police officer a very unifying can of Pepsi.

Last night, Saturday Night Live tackled the controversial ad by showing things from the director's point of view. The sketch stars Beck Bennett as the director, who receives a call from his sister moments before he's about to shoot the commercial. From there, he learns (several times, from several people) that the ad maybe isn't the beautiful show of unity that he intended.

After he excitedly explains the concept to his sister, his face falls as he hears her take on it: "Sort of tone deaf?"

Be sure to watch to the end because Cecily Strong makes a brilliant appearance as Kendall Jenner in the final moments of the video.
