And the Oscar goes to...Jason Momoa's pink velvet Fendi scrunchie! The actor brought everyone's favorite '90s accessory onto the red carpet at the 2019 Oscars–and we're so here for it.

In a sea of pink dresses on the red carpet, you may have missed Momoa's amazing throwback accessory. Donning a blush pink velvet suit by Fendi, the Aquaman star completed his look with a matching velvet scrunchie worn on his wrist. The pink scrunchie featured a black Fendi logo—as all great scrunchies could only aspire to do.

During a time when '90s hair accessories are experiencing a major renaissance, Momoa's look is right on trend. Though he could've gone for the nostalgic barrettes currently taking over our Instagram feeds, he managed to perfectly pull off the scrunchie look better than any influencer ever could.

Momoa's pink velvet tux coordinated with his wife Lisa Bonet, who wore a blush dress by Fendi. Bringing couple's dressing to a new level, the duo looked like a pink bubblegum dream walking hand-in-hand down the red carpet. Both outfits were custom designs by Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away at the age of 85 last week. The iconic designer was creative director of both Fendi and Chanel at the time of his death.
