Jimmy Fallon Cutting Off Heidi Klum on National TV Is Peak Cringe

The world will never know what Heidi wanted to say.

Everyone has this friend. You know the one. The one friend who always cuts you off, no matter how important the story you're telling is. The friend who can't seem to get the hint that you're still talking. For Heidi Klum, that friend was Jimmy Fallon earlier this week. She dropped by The Tonight Show to promote the latest season of America's Got Talent, which, by the way, includes a piano prodigy chicken playing "America the Beautiful." (Tyra's face in the clip is classic Tyra, and really the face I made when I watched it.) After the clip, Heidi had one more thing to add to the otherwise successful interview, but she never got the chance. As BuzzFeed poignantly puts it, Jimmy and his pointer finger swooped in with a giant "NOPE!" and cut off Heidi before she even moved on to the next breath. If you are ready, the moment happens at exactly 6:01.

Thanks to Jimmy, his pointer finger (and let's blame the beard while we're at it), the world will never know what Heidi was going to say. Was it something related to the talented chicken? Does the chicken need an agent? Something about Howie Mandel's t-shirt collection? Simon Cowell's t-shirt collection? Or what she really thinks of Jimmy's beard?

Let's relive this in three acts, shall we?

Act I: Heidi gets cut off and awkwardly smiles through the surprise.

Act II: The "Did That Just Happen?" head tilt.

Act III: The "Yep, It Did" finale, with a special appearance by Heidi's hands.

I look forward to Heidi's next appearance on The Tonight Show. Perhaps the chicken can join so both he and Heidi can cut off Jimmy Fallon in the middle of his monologue or something.
