"Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?"If you didn't automatically imagine Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink shimmying around to this track, your early '00s pop-culture card is revoked. The power femme foursome's cover track was brought into the world for the iconic musical Moulin Rouge! but has its own rich legacy, including a reported feud between Xtina and Pink.

RELATED STORY

As Us Weekly recapped, the feud came about in the behind-the-scenes making of "Lady Marmalade," with Pink both alleging that Christina was hard to work with and that label execs didn't originally want to give any of the other women on the track a fair shake:

"[Label executive] Ron Fair walked in. He didn't say hi to any of us and said, 'What's the high part? What's the most singing part? Christina's going to take that part,'" she explained at the time. "And I stood up, and I said 'Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I'm Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that's what the fucking meeting's about'."

Those comments were made in 2009, and in 2017, Pink is receiving the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year's Video Music Awards. But Twitter user @BICONIC couldn't help but swipe at the singer's honor: "Let's celebrate @Pink's Vanguard Award with the only relevant video of her career, starring as Xtina backup singer," with a video embed from "Lady Marmalade."

And, well, Pink herself saw the tweet, prompting her to speak out about her and Christina's current relationship:

"Want to point out an awful new phenomenon of the last 10'years. We can no longer be happy for each other. I heart Xtina, we've made amends....Music brings us all together. The best part of music is- there's room for everyone to win at the same time. Don't be what's wrong w/da world.

Let's be an example of inclusion and celebration. You don't have to like me at all, I'm ok with that. Just be a decent person. And you're fuckin rip van winkle if you've never seen one of my videos."
