The 'Will & Grace' Cast Just Performed the Show's Theme Song with Lyrics

This is a first.

Will & Grace is the latest classic show making a modern day comeback. This time, we don't have Netflix to thank for the resurrection—no, Will & Grace is returning to its home turf, NBC.

The cast stopped by the Tonight Show Friday to promote the reboot and do something very special—to sing their iconic show's theme song. "But wait," you're thinking, "did the Will & Grace theme song even have lyrics?"

No. No it did not. So they wrote their own (with help from the Tonight Show writing staff, presumably).

Sample lyrics include:

"I'm Debra Messing as you probably know. You might remember me from the cast of the show. Grace is a character that I play — interior designer and Will's roommate."

And:

"I'm Eric McCormack and I play Will. The show is coming back and I'm playing him still. You can see it this fall on NBC, remember when we used to call it 'must-see TV?'"

And the chorus?

"Get down! 'Will & Grace' is coming to town!"
