The year might be 2020, but if I'm honest, I think the art of time travel may have finally been perfected—how exciting! In case you didn't notice, trends from the early 2000s are everywhere, meaning that I can shamelessly bust out my belly-bearing chainmail tops, micro-mini shoulder bags, and tinted clear sunglasses (with the rhinestone detail, obvi) without a single care in the world. And I have Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner, and now, Kendall Jenner, to thank for that.

While everyone was getting ready for the Oscars this past weekend, Kendall literally said f*ck the formalities, and skipped all the events related to the show—you know, despite her sisters, Kylie and Kim Kardashian, hitting up the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. Instead of going to a carpeted event, Kendall allowed the streets of New York City to be her personal runway and made a bold fashion choice by showing up and out in a head-to-toe hot pink crop top, pant, and thong—yes, THONG!—combo. The energy from Kendall's look is peak Manny "I Wanna Be Hot" Santos from Degrassi, but also...if Elle Woods' clothes had an extra sprinkle of heaux added to them. No matter what you wanna call it, Kenny from the Block is serving.

The details aren't even the most iconic thing about this look, y'all. Kendall threw this outfit on just to go to dinner with her bestie, Justine Skye. The level of extra is astounding, and it simply leaves me no choice but to stan.
