Rihanna has promised fans that her new album is worth getting "excited" about.
The singer remained vague on when her new material will be released, but said that it has been a challenge to "outdo" her previous work. Speaking at a meet-and-greet at Fort Belvoir, Virginia on Wednesday (November 12), she said: "I can't give you any hints of when it will drop. It's going to be great, that's all I'm going to tell you, and I'm excited about it."
According to The AP, the 26-year-old added: "I try to battle myself and outdo everything I've done and that's been the hardest thing to do. You start overthinking things at times. "I can't wait for everybody to hear (the music) little by little... little by little. I can't wait."
A rumored tracklisting for Rihanna's new album emerged online last month, featuring collaborations with Drake and Nicki Minaj.
