Sarah Jessica Parker just dropped a truth bomb on Jimmy Kimmel Live, wherein she casually revealed that she almost turned down her role in Sex and the City. Uhhhh...what now?
"I thought it was an interesting role and I loved that script, and then when I finished it, I completely forgot about it because I went on and did a play or whatever," SJP told Jimmy Kimmel. "And then I ran into somebody on the street and they were like, 'Oh, you know, I saw your show,' and I was like, 'What show?' And they were like, 'You did a show called Sex and the City.' And I was like, oh right. Right, right, right. I was like, 'You saw it? I haven't seen it!' She was like, 'Yeah it's great,' I was like, 'Ohhhh. Alright.' And then when they finally said we're gonna do it, I was like, 'I don't know. I don't know I feel like the moment passed. Like, I feel like maybe I'm not so keen to commit.' But I was foolish and people wisely talked me out of it—I went to set the first day and never looked back."
