In a new Gallup poll, 10 out of 10 grade-schoolers named "that Jimmy Kimmel guy I'm not allowed to watch because it's past my bedtime" the most hated man in America because, year after year, he persuades their parents to lie and say they've eaten all the Halloween candy, then film their reactions for a national audience.

Although his own 2-year-old daughter Jane was like "whatever," the other participants' kids demonstrated a variety of reactions, the most popular of which seemed to be "shut down and collapse in anguish." (Others: scolding, cursing, Alec Baldwin when confronted by a paparazzo, surprising mercifulness, perhaps in a ploy to earn more candy.)
