Ellen DeGeneres is saying goodbye to a beloved President like only Ellen can.

On Thursday, she dedicated a portion of her show to the outgoing POTUS and FLOTUS. Ellen and the Obamas have been close friends for the past eight years, and both Barack and Michelle have made countless appearances on Ellen's show.

Just two months ago, Obama awarded a tearful Ellen with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States. And on Obama's last full day in office, Ellen expressed her thanks.

"Today is the last day that Barack Obama will be our President," she began. "I want to personally thank him for changing my life. I am a legally married woman because of him and so is my wife. His courage and compassion created equality for everyone. He moved us forward and made more happen in the past eight years than I ever dreamed possible. I love him, I love Michelle." 😢😢😢

The highlight reel includes a lot of dancing (this is Ellen, after all), a Michelle vs. Ellen push-up challenge, an appearance by the first dog Bo, and a very appreciate Ellen thanking the President for his work towards legalizing gay marriage.
