Karlie Kloss Apologizes for Appropriating Japanese Culture

Despite the fact that it's 2017 and the world really should know better, Karlie Kloss was reportedly asked to take part in a photo shoot for Vogue, during which she dressed up as an Asian woman—complete with faux black hair and "geisha" makeup.

The images sparked outrage online, and Kloss has formally issued an apology for participating in a culturally appropriative shoot.
