Any questions?

It just isn't Halloween without everyone's favorite, bizarrely hilarious, haunted-house character, David S. Pumpkins, and his skeleton sidekicks. So it's welcome news that Tom Hanks is bringing back the instantly iconic Saturday Night Live character for the upcoming season.

"Any questions?" Hanks wrote on Twitter on Friday, referencing his signature tagline. He also shared a photo of the script, which states that Pumpkins "magically brings pumpkins to life, making them float and sing."

The idea looks insanely good, and a big departure from his character's debut. David S. Pumpkins first appeared during last year's Halloween episode, which featured cast members Beck Bennett and Kate McKinnon.

Producers quickly realized that David S. Pumpkins was a certified hit with audiences. So, they brought him back for a cameo in Kenan Thompson's musical skit, "Rap Song," in May. See Pumpkins' appearance around the 2 minute 40 second mark in the clip below, and then get excited for his return this Halloween. No question about it.
