Did Selena Gomez Take It Too Far on Instagram?

"Sari, not sari."

Selena Gomez has been pushing the envelope on Instagram: She recently posted a photo of herself naked (but covered by a curtain), and she went on a massive unfollow spree. But her latest post, a photo of her wearing a sari with the caption "sari, not sari," is arguably her biggest Instagram head-scratcher yet. Given that the pop star has already received backlash for appropriating Indian and Hindu culture, is this her way of saying she's not sorry for that? Or are there just other things she's not sorry for, like that time she hung out with Orlando Bloom? Either way, she might want to clarify. This reads to many as her being culturally insensitive and — sorry, not sorry — that's a problem.

Sari, not sari. 🙏
