Girls' Guide to the Superbowl

I usually just watch the Superbowl for the commercials. I've never really enjoyed the game itself—mostly because I don't care about football, but also because I hate the gender segregation that comes with it: men sit riveted to the flat screen, while women chat with each other and eat in the background. It's all just too cliché and retro.

So this year, I've made a vow: In between the commercials, I will actually watch the game. But first I'm hunkering down with an excellent website that will get me through it, for anyone interested in not pissing off the guy next to them on the couch with questions like, "what's a first down?", check out: The Beginners Guide To Football.
