This 'Game of Thrones' Scene Between Arya and Melisandre Could Hold a Major Key

How did we not notice this before?

Warning: This post may contain Game of Thrones spoilers. Proceed with caution.

Way back in Season 3, Arya Stark and Melisandre had a little run-in. At the time, we  didn't think much of it; when the Red Priestess took Arya by the face and started going on about eye color, we all probably assumed she was blowing smoke and forgot about it. But when you take a look at the scene now, it suddenly starts to make a lot more sense. Mashable discovered that a Reddit user unearthed the old clip and realized it seems to contain major clues about the rest of the season.

Melisandre says: "I see a darkness in you. And in that darkness, eyes starring back at me. Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes sealed shut forever. We will meet again."

Reddit commenters point out that Arya has already killed people with most of the eye colors Melisandre lists:

She hasn't, they claim, killed anyone with green eyes yet. And they say Cersei Lannister has green eyes. (Nothing gets past Game of Thrones fans.)

It does make sense. Cersei is on her kill list. So did that scene predict a huge upcoming plot point?

Stay tuned.
