1. Tom, Lucy and Annie, Easy

Each episode of Netflix's Easy tracks a different relationship, and there's a whole lotta sex. It runs the gamut from role-play to jackrabbit, but the best coitus comes from Tom (Orlando Bloom) and Lucy (Malin Akerman), a married couple who use Tinder to facilitate a threesome. They end up having one with a mutual friend on a bean bag in their '70s-style basement. Despite uncomfortable moments, including some interruptions by baby monitor, they get the hang of it and pleasure ensues. Even more satisfying? The fact that their sexploit doesn't send their marriage into a tailspin. Monogamy isn't lost, but neither is the fun of adding a third party to the mix.

2. Helen and Vic, The Affair

The four leads of The Affair are set on bringing authenticity to on-screen intimacy—equal opportunity nudity! More men's orgasm faces!—and damn, does it show. The second episode of the third season starts off with a bang, this time steamy morning sex between Helen and her unofficial boyfriend/basement tenant Vic. With hot doctor on the brink of orgasm, Helen says "don't" and it actually works. She quickly realizes her brood needs attending to upstairs, but Vic's edging lets the both of them build up to full-body O's before 7 a.m. Get it, girl.

3. Poussey and Soso, Orange Is the New Black

In episode six of season four, Litchfield's It Couple hits the showers for some tongue action. Poussey gets Soso off by going down on her (cue the thigh-quivering climax), but the favor isn't returned. Soso admits her struggle to reciprocate and lack of experience, but that doesn't diminish Poussey's feelings for her. Her acceptance of Soso's sexual identity is so important and their budding romance is pretty freakin' adorable.

4. Gretchen and Jimmy, You're the Worst

The show's two leads are frank, funny, and a little bit rude—and that attitude extends into their sex lives. Season three opens right onto the couple boning in broad daylight, screaming out orders and switching positions with shocking agility. On the brink of Gretchen's orgasm, Jimmy asks why she needs to announce it, which kinda kills the mood. He ends up giving her the (pelvic?) floor, but not before a little verbal jousting. Since when has sex talk ever been this honest—or quick-witted?

5. Maeve and Hector, Westworld

Convincing Hector to help her escape the park means Maeve has to off herself yet again to end up back in the lab. So why not do it in a blazing glory, mid-O? Maeve takes the park's resident rugged outlaw back to his tent, where they get after it as the whole thing goes up in flames. Each time Westworld's smartest host commits an act of self-sacrifice, it's more epic than the last, and episode nine is no exception.

6. Lawrence and Tasha, Insecure

There's a lot of real, raw material to choose from in season one of HBO's Insecure (also see: Issa and Daniel's steamy recording studio hookup), but in the final moments of the finale, things get especially intense. Of course it breaks your heart to see Lawrence reciprocate Issa's infidelity, but that's partially why the moment is burned into your brain. It's pretty hard not to feel drawn in by his rough, hair-pulling, doggy-style sex with bank teller Tasha.

7. Elijah and Dill, Girls

After a tender moment in the middle of Times Square, the camera cuts to Elijah and Dill back in bed, going at it missionary style. Face-to-face sex between men is rarely depicted on-screen (one notable exception being Looking). Between power-bottom Dill's conflicting commands and Elijah's struggle to thrust at the right tempo, the sex is awkward, explicit, hilarious, and ultimately, sweet.

8. Claire and Jamie, Outlander

Sex was noticeably absent from the beginning of Outlander's second season. With Claire's sizable baby bump and Jamie's trauma from a sexual assault by his nemesis, both are dealing with new sexual realities. Fueled by a sudden thirst for revenge, Jamie's sex drive returns in the fourth episode with an artfully shot, deeply emotional scene. The intimacy is different this time around but just as poignant. Plus it's nice to see a network recognizing that yes, pregnant women still have sexual needs.

9. Eddie and Sarah, The Path

Hulu's provocative new series The Path follows members of a fascinating cult-like movement—but it deserves a stream for eroticism alone. As Eddie (Aaron Paul) starts to doubt the system, the tension that builds between him and his wife Sarah (Michelle Monaghan) climaxes in a whole lot of boning. In the middle of the night on episode nine, a shattered glass ends up on the kitchen floor, then the two of them do too. The camerawork is slow and sensual, but the lovemaking is passionate and moan-worthy. They may not share the same beliefs, but at least there's sexual chemistry.

10. Justine, Dorian and Lily, Penny Dreadful

Penny Dreadful comes the closest to delivering the supernatural, raunchy, and often crimson-soaked sex scenes True Blood brought to screen far too long ago. In the third episode of season three, Justine kills her captor, making an absolute mess in the process. Then Dorian and Lily join in for erotic canvas painting with an entire Halloween costume store's supply of corn syrup. It's pretty gruesome, but the bloody three-way is visually fantastic. Just one question though—who's cleaning those sheets?
