Jessica Alba: Born to Help

The March of Dimes' inaugural imbornto campaign wants to give children the means they need to live their dreams.

In addition to a successful acting career, her status as a Hollywood heartthrob, and a reputation as an ass-kicking superhero, Jessica Alba is an entrepreneur — a momtrepreneur if we may. In a quest to provide non-toxic, effective baby products, our June cover girl founded The Honest Company, which delivers safe and sustainable products to subscribers for a monthly fee.

Considering her commitment to children's health, there's no better spokesperson than Alba for the March of Dimes' inaugural imbornto campaign. The organization, originally founded to help eradicate polio, now fights for health insurance for pregnant women and children, provides information to expecting and new moms, and supports research to find cures for birth defects and diseases. In Alba's PSA, she professes March of Dimes' mission: that "every baby is born to do something great," regardless of what that aspiration is, or the child's circumstances.
