Guys, the future is finally here. Today, Instagram announced that it's now possible to hashtag emojis in a post, giving due credit to the universal language that is emoji.
"Over the past few years, emoji have become part of a universal visual language," Instagram wrote on its blog. "And just as we share photos and videos, we use emoji to communicate emotions and feelings in ways that anyone can understand, regardless of language or background."
Instagram also introduced three new filters today: Lark, Reyes, and Juno, which are meant to create vibrant, outdoor shots just in time for spring!
