I'm a pro shopper, and yet I still struggle to find the perfect pair of jeans. (Because I'm an apple shape, I'm prone to "Mom Jeans Syndrome.") But after years of trial and error, I've discovered that pear-shaped cuts, which are more generous in the seat and thigh, are the most flattering. If you're tall like me, dark trouser jeans are also a great option, especially for work. Now let's talk skinny jeans: I know some of you avoid them, but a fitted pair (not skintight) at ankle length, worn with pointed pumps, will have you doing double takes in the mirror all night!
