Alexander Wang Spring 2014 New York Fashion Week

The Alexander Wang show from Nina Garcia.

When it come to the clothes, we never quite know what we're going to see when we walk into an Alexander Wang show, but one thing is for certain: we're always in for a show. Upon entering the cavernous venue, the tall, cage-like installations and maze of a runway gave us a clue that we were about to witness something wild. As soon as the bass of the soundtrack kicked in (starting with the late '90s hip-hop banger "Simon Says")the models began their winding walk through Pier 94. Out favorite looks included the designer's take on men's boxer shorts and button downs (especially the version worn on the runway by Behati Prinsloo) and a couple of tops emblazoned with the "Parental Advisory: Explicit Content" logo that is reminiscent of our high school days. Wang also made ample use of his own name: Waistbands, long gloves, and even a blazer bore his block-lettered logo, which is well on its way to becoming iconic.

Watch below for scenes from Nina Garcia's vantage point on the front row and don't forget to follow #benina.
