Believe it or not, but it’s that time of year again. NY Fashion Week is here and I started it off just right by seeing the FW12 Organic by John Patrick collection!
As usual, John Patrick opted for a somewhat muted color palette (lots of brown and tan), but he did add a few punches of red and floral that gave the collection some vibrancy. This look stood out for me in particular, especially because I love (and live in) oversized sweaters.
In general, I really liked the collection, but there were a few pieces that I thought would be too boxy on me (a black leather jacket specifically). But luckily, there was this awesome camel coat that I could add to my wish list.
I thought this leather dress was uber-chic and totally reminded me of Diane Keaton.
All in all, Organic by John Patrick was a great show to start of fashion week with, and I can’t wait to see what everyone else has in store!!
