Last night, I, along with Luigi Tadini (pictured), Olivia Chantecaille, Beatrice Rossi-Landi, Mary Katheryn Navab, Adelina Wong Ettelson, Matthew White, and Alexandra Lind Rose chaired Save Venice's annual gala. As usual, it was a masked affair filled with fancifully dressed invitees, all wearing big gowns and even bigger headpieces.

Last year, I donned a huge Valentino gown, so this year I thought to wear something a bit more manageable. I opted for a black Badgley Mischka gown with a gathering of tulle at the bottom. Since Badgley Mischka and jewelry house de Grisogono were this year's sponsors, I got to wear a killer dress and killer jewelry!

Here are the de Grisogono earrings I chose for the event. I initially planned to go with the green version of these, but it ended up being too difficult to find a purse to match. So, I opted for these stunning, all-white, diamond "Gocce" danglers set in 18 karat white gold. Beautiful!

Thank you, Judith Lieber, for loaning me such a stunning purse! I loved this little box clutch, and think it complemented the earrings wonderfully. And, here is the mask I donned. I literally bought it the same day as the event at Zitomer's, but it was perfect because I could take it on and off as often as I wished.
