Combining the delicate qualities of ballet with the edgy toughness of boxing, designers Danielle and Jodie Snyder put a ying-yang of visceral movements into Dannijo's pirouette-meets-glove-game fall presentation. According to Danielle, the duo was inspired by their boxing classes and a recent trip to the ballet, "We love boxing, we've been boxing for the last six months—we have an amazing coach. We also recently to a big gala at the American Ballet theatre earlier this year and we came up with the idea of combining ballet and boxing because they are two really seamless opposites," says Danielle, "We loved the idea of incorporating fluidity and movement into the collection. Fashion week is so straight forward, you have models draped with clothing, but for us we wanted to bring the collection to life, making it more emotional and powerful."

The jewelry was in classic statement-making Dannijo style with full-length ear cuffs and tiered bib necklaces, mixing oxidized metals with pearls to accent the harsh-soft theme.

For makeup, the soft-meets-hard qualities of the collection were translated into mohawk-meets-ballerina buns and soft dewy makeup with full accented brows. To get a full arch, makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes of butter London, told us that she, "likes to brush the brows up, I just think it’s really cool and kinda bad ass. To get that look I use butter LONDON WINK Mascara in Brown Sugar and brush upwards."
