It's always a great way to open day one of #NYFW with an uber cool show as Nicholas K did: HOT male and female models and knits that you want to wrap around yourself. It was a mix of grungey '90s neutrals, winter whites, and layers. P-E-R-F-E-C-T.
Coach was a shearling-and-knit accessory heaven with its cabin chic aesthetic. You'll want to scoop up one of these bags for fall, no question.
Any show that's staged in a super cool old hotel is that much more fun to watch, like Creatures of Comfort's show today. It also perfectly suited the collection, which was a take on librarian layers.
Tadashi Shoji took sheer to another level, with many dresses reminding us of the bodysuits we've seen over the years worn by Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyonce. Truly incredible for ANY black tie event, you'll not only stand out, but with Tadashi's smart craftsmanship and draping, you'll look incredible.
This was Australian label Tome's first runway show, and they delivered a deliciously feminine, super lady-like collection. We especially loved the pink and red satin dresses—so pretty!
Bejeweled, ballet, and boxing inspired, DANNIJO encompassed every tough-meets-luxe girl's dream in a stellar set of bib necklaces worn by actual ballerinas who performed in front of a dancing ring.
The Peter Pilotto for Target presentation was a strobe-lit wonderland of graphic prints and tuxedo-clad waiters serving champagne, foie gras, and more. Get excited—the stunning collection hits stores on Sunday, February 9 and is available on netaporter.com.
