Personal Effects: Gucci Introduces the Seventies Collection

Photos Courtesy of Gucci

With its Technicolor furs and dramatic chiffon gowns, Gucci's fall collection was one of our absolute favorites. Fittingly, the house's Creative Director Frida Giannini took further cues from the glamorous 1970s when it came to dreaming up her newest line of carryalls. Cast in a rich array of pigskins and houndstooth patterns and outfitted with Gucci's signature green-and-red stripe, the Seventies Collection incorporates vintage silhouettes and finishes to recall the look of luxe luggage. As for the finishing touch? Each piece comes with a custom monogram of the owner's choice. Talk about making a great initial impression.
