Like Andy from Downton Abbey, Canada suddenly got hot, and now everyone's like "Who's that?" In honor of the country's newfound cool-kid status, President Obama hosted a state dinner for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday, to which a bunch of well-dressed couples turned up.
Michelle Obama wore a dark floral strapless Jason Wu gown, while Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau arrived in a purple gown trimmed with orange embroidery. (Better than it sounds.) Accompanying her husband Ryan "I Always Forget He's Canadian" Reynolds, Blake Lively made an entrance in a silver Ralph & Russo robe.
O Canada indeed.
