Big Girl in a Skinny World: Casual Day Fashions

Hello Ladies,

I was out in LA this past week and had a blast strolling around Rodeo Dr and Sunset Boulevard on my off time. I decided to snap some pictures of my casual day looks. Maybe they'll provide you with some inspiration!

1. New York & Company Jacket, Target Top, Old Navy Jeans/>

The leather jacket was a perfect neutral option. This beigy tone was all over the runways this season and works pretty flawlessly with any outfit. I chose the bright blue top for a punch of color and paired it with my go to skinny jeans!

Target Dress, New York & Company Cardigan.

This LBD is one of the many in my LBD arsenal. I love this one because it can be dressed up or down. I paired it with my military inspired cardigan from New York & Company for a trendy twist on a basic.

3. Faith 21 Top, New York & Company Vest, Faith 21 Skirt

I know, I know. Lots of you think striped tops are too risky for curvy girls, but I think this one works well paired with a great vest or jacket. I wear my vest with just about everything. I capped the outfit with my Faith 21 pencil skirt.

Until next time…

-Ashley
