Alice + Olivia Teams with Magnum Ice Cream

It was around this time last year that Magnum Ice Cream debuted its series of Karl Lagerfeld-directed commercials starring Rachel Bilson—and in doing so made it very clear that they took the fashion world seriously.

At a super chic (and delicious) lunch yesterday, the company announced the arrival of the Magnum Mini—a smaller version of the ice cream bar that I have no power to resist. Of course, there's a style component to the launch too. Alice + Olivia's Stacey Bendet will be designing an exclusive "Mini" skirt that she'll reveal at her presentation during New York Fashion Week in September. Of the partnership Stacey said, "Inspiration is like ice cream. It always makes you smile. The Magnum Mini is the perfect inspiration for a mini skirt, playful and sweet!"

We can't wait to see what the always girl meets quirky designer comes up with. In the meantime, I'll be trying not to eat a million mini Magnums so I can actually fit into it.
